Additional info/contents	Four Old Dances Diese vier Tänze sind in einer Art Neorenaissance-Stil geschrieben. Da sie in technischer Hinsicht keine sehr hohen Anforderungen an die Ausführenden stellen, sind sie für Anfängerensembles, Jugendorchester und alle zahlenmäßig kleinen Orchester besonders geeignet. These four dances are written in a neo-renaissance style. The dances are not too technically demanding making them especially suitable for beginner ensembles, youth bands and small orchestras. Avec Four Old Dances (Quatre Danses Anciennes), Jan Van der Roost a souhaite composer une pièce simple, accessible aux Orchestres de Jeunes. II s'agit d'une petite suite de quatre danses traditionnelles : Bourree, Menuet, Pavane et Gigue. L'arrangement de Myriam Mees comporte deux voix ad libitum : une partie optionnelle de clavier électronique ou synthétiseur et une partie optionnelle de percussion. Scritte in uno stile neo-rinascimentale, queste quattro danze dei compositore belga Van der Roost non richiedono agli esecutori preparazione tecnica ed esperienza particolari. Van der Roost ha composto Four Old Dances (Quattro danze antiche) con intenti pedagogici, in particolar modo per orchestre principianti, giovani gruppi e orchestre con organico ridotto. Myriam Mees ha mantenuto il proposito e le ha adattate per orchestra di fisarmoniche con tastiera o sintetizzatore e percussioni facoltative. Deze vier danzen zijn in een neo-renaissance stijl geschreven. Omdat ze in technisch opzicht niet zeer hoge eisen aan de uitvoerenden stellen, zijn ze bijzonder goed geschikt voor beginnersensembles, jeugdorkesten en kleine orkesten.
