Bösendorfer schuf daraus ein wunderschönes und anrührendes Werk für Blasorchester, das sich besonders gut für feierliche und kirchliche Anlässe eignet. Alfred Bösendorfer used a theme written by Johann Rudolph Ahle (1664) for the hymn “Dearest Jesus, we are here” (Liebster Jesu, wir sind hier). Bösendorfer created a beautiful and touching piece for concert band, which is perfect for festive as well as religious occasions.
