Additional info/contents	Six Romansh folk songs are combined into a rhapsody in this work. Some of them are widely sung, such as the "Lingua materna" at the beginning. Others are less well-known, but in their simple beauty are true pearls of song art. These include "Bin san tu meis cour char," a melancholic love song, and a chant from the "Consolaziun del olma devoziusa," a collection of old sacred songs from the Surselva region. All of these songs are embedded in a musical narrative, yet largely retain their original form. The relationship between many of the song motifs creates musical cohesion and enables a symphonic development that runs through the entire rhapsody. Radiotrack
