Additional info/contents	This is an easy arrangement of the beautiful ballad from the Walt Disney motion picture "Pocahontas". Directors should find it quite useful for teaching young musicians to play legato style. Good balance and nice legato tonguing is essential in the flutes and clarinets at the beginning of the piece to establish the style for the rest of the band. The clarinets' melody at measure 5 should be rich and full sounding. The printed dynamic markings will help to achieve the proper balance between the melody lines and background harmonies. The suspended cymbal part should enhance the crescendos and diminuendos. At measure 34 the low brass and woodwinds should play short and light underneath the legato flute melody. A counter melody in alto sax and horn enters in measure 42. The Percussion 1 part can be realized by a single player with a drum set or can be divided among several players. Keep all the percussion light for the most part, with the only exception being their line in measure 54 leading into measure 55. For a slighter shorter version you can cut measures 34-43.
