Evaluation level of countries SBV (Salzburger Blasmusikverband)

Additional info/contents The musical genius of Johann Sebastian Bach has transcended the generations. This new work for concert band presents a Bach chorale melody transcribed literally, followed by three variations of that theme. The first variation is a baroque-styled rendition balancing brass to woodwind choirs, the second is a slow adagio, and the final variation is a straight-forward full chorale using the original harmonization.
