Additional info/contents	The suite "Drei Miniaturen für Blasorchester" was composed on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Musikkapelle Lindach. The three movements "Prologue", "Sentimental Ballad" and "Dance" epitomise the diverse demands placed on a music association like the Lindach band today. On the one hand, they organise church and secular festivals in the village, on the other hand, they try to make high-quality music in concert performances and further develop the association. And it is precisely this development that wind music needs; standing still would be tantamount to taking a step backwards. The "Prologue" therefore stands for the concertante work, the "Sentimental Ballad" for the remembrance of the deceased musicians of the association and the "Dance" for the cheerful coexistence of the different generations and the enthusiasm that making music in the wind orchestra can arouse across all age and professional groups.
