Additional info/contents	In 1844/45 Mendelssohn Bartholdy composed six organ sonatas under the opus number 65. The Andante Religioso is taken from the IV Sonata, where it forms the second, slow movement. The instrumentation for wind orchestra was done in such a way that, on the one hand, the change of instrument groups in the manner of a manual change on the organ, and, on the other hand, the triple crescendo (T. 4-10, 14-20, 28-36), which is formed by sequencing the main motif, was particularly emphasized.
