Additional info/contents	Al Fresco is the first commissioned composition of a series of original brass band works written in memory of Walter Beeler, one of the great pioneers of the American wind orchestra scene. The premiere took place on April 19, 1975 at a concert of the Music Educators National Conference in Philadelphia. The composer himself conducted the Ithaca College Concert Band.
