German (de) Donnerrohr
English (en) Thunder Tube
Spanish (es) Thunder Tube
French (fr) Thunder Tube
Italian (it) Thunder Tube
Dutch (nl) Thunder Tube
Portuguese (pt) Thunder Tube
Definition/synonyms The THUNDER TUBE consists of a cardboard tube that is sealed on one side with a plastic membrane. A thin steel spring is attached to the membrane, which vibrates when the instrument is shaken. This creates a sound reminiscent of thunder and storms. You can also use it as a voice amplifier (with a reverberation effect!) by shouting or singing into the opening of the tube. The edge of the tube rests next to the corner of your mouth and remains slightly open.
