Composer Augschöll, Jakob
Difficulty level 4
Duration 14:00
Additional info/contents Jakob Augschöller's A.L.E. – Triple Brew Concerto is a concerto for solo trombone and wind orchestra, lasting approximately fourteen minutes and rated at the advanced level (4/D). Commissioned in 2026 by Alexander Egger and the Jenesien Brass Band (South Tyrol), the work combines musical seriousness with playful lightness.

The title A.L.E. stands for the three movements: Aromatic – Maestoso, Lyrical – Adagio, and Electric – Funk. Each movement offers its own distinct soundscape: the first movement captivates with spicy, majestic sounds; the second with lyrical depth and emotional warmth; and the third with energetic rhythms and a rousing finale.

The work is dedicated to Alexander Egger, whose artistic versatility as a musician, graphic designer, and conceptual artist inspired Augschöller. The Triple Brew Concerto is suitable for demanding concert programs and is available from the South Tyrol Music Publishing House. The Jenesien music band has included the piece in its repertoire.
