Additional info/contents
"Comment Te Dire Adieu" is a French adaptation of the American song "It Hurts To Say Goodbye" (Jack Gold/Arnold Goland), originally released in 1968 by Françoise Hardy with lyrics by Serge Gainsbourg. The song reached number one on the French charts in 1969 and is considered a classic of French pop music. Jan van Kraeydonck's arrangement for wind orchestra translates the piece into an instrumental version that preserves the emotional depth of the original while fully utilizing the sonic possibilities of a wind ensemble. This version is suitable for concert performances and competitions.
