Egal ob als 1. Trompeter und 1. Flügelhornist bei der Harmoniemusik Bad Hindelang oder als Gründungsmitglied der Kanapee-Museg - Nama stand seinen Mann und dies aktiv bis zu seinem 80. Lebensjahr. Der "Polka-König" Michael Kuhn sorgt mit seinem einfühlsamen Arrangement für den nötigen Schwung und setzt mit der Orchestrierung von Hammerls eingängigen Melodienbögen die nötigen musikalischen Farben und Akzente.
