Additional info/contents	The lotus flower is a beautiful flower that often grows in shallow waters. It is characterized by large, round leaves that float above the water surface. The flower itself has a unique shape with many delicate, perfectly symmetrical petals. It comes in various colors such as white, pink and yellow and has a deep symbolic meaning. The lotus flower is often associated with purity, renewal and spiritual growth. It is a symbol of good luck, prosperity and inner growth. In the accompanying voices of his Cornet Solo «Lotus», Hitoshi Takahashi tries to represent the pond surface musically. This with a polyrhythmic texture and a variety of timbres that can be created by using different dampers. The flower that rises from the water surface and blooms radiantly above the water is symbolized by the Cornet Solo.
