Additional info/contents	"East Of Eden" was an American television series that aired in February 1981. It was based on a 1952 novel of the same name by John Steinbeck. The film's score was written by television and film composer Lee Elwood Holdridge. The main theme is very lyrical and melodic, with beautiful harmonies and subtle counterpoints, all interwoven with rich and colorful instrumentation. The finale presentation of the main theme begins gently and simply - slowly building to a very powerful and spectacular ending. American composer and arranger James L. Hosay has written a wind band arrangement that captures all the beauty, splendor and grandeur of this stirring film score.
