Additional info/contents	With “A Tribute To Genesis” a long-held wish of publisher Koen Vergouwen has come true. Genesis was one of the first live concerts he attended on June 28, 1992 in the Festivalpark Werchter (Be). He also attended the farewell concert of “The Last Domino? Tour" on March 21, 2022! The work is a real tribute to the band for their entire oeuvre, but you can only fit a few pieces of music in such an arrangement. In this medley for wind orchestra, Rob Balfoort used 4 iconic songs of the group, namely “Land Of Confusion”, “Mama”, “Invisible Touch” and “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight”. It was quite a task for him to determine not only the order, but also the parts to be used and the length, so the arranger and publisher consulted frequently so as not to shortchange the legendary trio. The result was that this piece became several minutes longer than originally planned, and during the arranging Rob also found out that Phil Collins and his co-writers Tony Banks (keyboards) and Mike Rutherford (guitar) also didn't really think that a wind music arrangement would ever be made of their music. The vocal, guitar and bass parts are optional; use of bass guitar is desirable. Tip for conductor and drummer: When performing this great music, allow the drummer the freedom to use his own interpretation based on studio but especially live performances.
