Additional info/contents	The "Fanfare on the Rocks" consists of two ingredients that at first glance do not seem to be compatible: a celebratory fanfare and a good portion of rock. Can that work? I think so! Because there is no doubt that a fanfare has a certain momentum, a certain "drive". This momentum can be highlighted and strengthened by rock elements. The lyrical "theme", which usually functions as a calm counterpart to a fanfare, is presented here in its classic form in the first part, but also gets its rocky touch in the finale. To ensure that the character of the work does not become brutal and monotonous, I have also composed a solemn middle section that provides a welcome calm. In summary, "Fanfare on the Rocks" should give musicians and audiences a lot of joy and fun, but at the same time retain the character of a demanding work that does need some fine-tuning and allows enough scope for interpretation. In the hope that I have met these requirements, I wish you much enjoyment with «Fanfare on the Rocks»!
