Prince Maurice of Nassau, commander of the Dutch army, defeated Count Varax, a general in the Spanish army, in that memorable battle, despite being significantly outnumbered. A great, heroic theme, transformed into an equally great work for brass band, which won third prize at the European Composers Competition 2009. Radiotrack
