Additional info/contents	Reminiscences for symphonic wind orchestra A walk through the wonderful scenery of Schönbrunn Palace Park forms the backdrop of the composition Memoria. Accompanied by spring-like sunny weather, we enter these historic grounds via the Hietzinger Tor, stroll along the Kastanienallee and the Lindenallee to the grand parterre and let ourselves be enchanted by nature and architecture. A cloud of sound leading upwards lets us float away in thought and puts us in a dreamy state of mind that lets us reminisce. Our footsteps can be heard through this cloud of sound, setting a moderate tempo like a portato. Gradually the mood becomes more relaxed and when the initial motif is heard again in tutti, an incomparable view of Vienna from the Gloriette is released. The initial cloud of sound, which this time resounds in the opposite direction, allows us to find our way back to reality by walking down the Tirolerweg. With cleared minds and euphoric exuberance, we march towards the Meidlinger Tor via Lichte Allee and finish our excursion swinging.
