Additional info/contents In the series "Neue Geistliche Lieder für Blasorchester" (New Spiritual Songs for Wind Orchestra), the music publisher RUNDEL publishes modern church songs for Catholic, Protestant and ecumenical occasions. The young and fresh musical approach to faith expressed in these songs reflects the growing togetherness of the two large Christian churches. The wind orchestra plays a major role in the annual cycle of the church congregations and with these "New Spiritual Songs" can now also musically shape modern worship.

The titles in this series have been deliberately selected and arranged so that they can be performed purely instrumentally with a wind orchestra or additionally with mixed choir (SATB). For the Christian ecologically inspired composer and arranger Kurt Gäble, it was a personal concern to publish popular new spiritual songs also as carefully prepared sheet music editions for wind orchestra and choir. In his compositions and arrangements, he often combines deep Christian faith with his love of music.
