Additional info/contents	The St. Gotthard Road Tunnel, opened in 1980 after ten years of construction, is a major transport link through the Swiss Alps and is considered a technical masterpiece. Official celebrations with exhibitions and guided tours were held to mark its 30th anniversary in 2010. The event was accompanied musically by the march "San Gottardo 2010," specially composed by Fredy Lamp for intermediate wind orchestra or brass band. This work combines tradition and modernity and underscores the cultural significance of the tunnel. The celebrations impressively demonstrated how infrastructure and music work together to keep history alive.
