Additional info/contents Festival Bells is a fast-paced and demanding opening work. The uplifting mood of the piece describes the anticipation of a festival in Austria. Within the middle section, the Upper Austrian anthem is incorporated into the music. This composition was commissioned by the Upper Austrian regional music directorate on the occasion of the Upper Austrian regional music festival, and was premièred at the Brucknerhaus in Linz by the Salzkammergut Bläserphilharmonia under the direction of the composer. A festive, cheerful and spectacular piece of music!
