Additional info/contents	The title conjures up such strong images that it was almost a case of what to leave out rather than what to include in this test piece. The piece is made up of 3 contrasting sections and featured a recurring theme that is surrounded, and featured in different ways. The opening section sees the battalion marching to base camp and join together in a rousing anthem before quiet contemplation of the next dawn sets in. The thoughts of loved ones who are back at home; the absence of familiar surroundings and the inner turmoil that conflict is approaching are all illustrated in this middle section. The last section portrays the drama that is to unfold and a reminder of the possibility for liberation that is being fought for in this triumphant finale.
