Additional info/contents	The song “Vesle Hoa som var en Hottentott” vas written by by the Norwegian author and cartoonist Thorbjørn Egner. Since the first recording of the song in 1954, it has been one of the most famous childrens songs in Norway. To the conductor: The drum style shifts between Jungle Groove and Swing. (Listen to: Sing, sing, sing with Gene Krupa and Benny Goodman) The swing style is from the 30's i.e. not the laid-back kind. The syncopations and accents should be firm and timely. Watch the balance in the block chords at 'A', and aim for a smooth flow. Emphasize the articulation at letter 'C'. The melody line at letter 'E' must be firm and strong. Almost a little rough at this point. A diminuendo just before letter 'H' suits the music well, and then do subito forte at 'H'. 'L' is the climax of the piece and should be ferocious. If this ain't swing, you're doing the wrong thing....;)
