Additional info/contents	This concert is based on the great form of the Concerti Grossi, which flourished in the Baroque era. There is no fixed group of soloists; they vary throughout the four movements. This piece, in its version for string orchestra, was commissioned by the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, of which I was the composer in 2017. The present version for woodwind ensemble was premiered when I was resident composer at the fantastic Sherborne Summer School of Music, in the UK, with the wind course organized by conductor Mark Heron. This version was premiered by the incredible Norwegian conductor Björn Saagstad.
