Cette oeuvre rassemble trois fragments de trois célèbres opéras de Giuseppe Verdi. L'éclatante ouverture est donnée par la Marche triomphale extrait d'Aida, suivie par deux motifs distincts de La force du destin, auxquels succèdent le célèbre refrain gitan du Trouvère. L'arrangement pour orchestre d'harmonie de Wil van der Beek est une scintillante reprise de cette incontournable musique d'opéra, connue et aimée de tous.
