Venianim Myasoedovs 'Archaic Blues' wurde 1986 komponiert. Das Stueck wurde bei Spielern verschiedener Blasinstrumente sehr populaer und existiert in vielen verschiedenen Bearbeitungen fuer allerlei Instrumentalbesetzungen. Archaic (early) blues is a traditional type of blues, which was formed in the first half of the last century in the South of the USA and was closely connected with the African origin. Veniamin Myasoedov's Archaic Blues was written in 1986. It became very popular among performers of various wind instruments. There are many variations of this blues for different sets of instruments.
