Classical wedding music, such as that by Wagner or Mendelssohn, creates a romantic and festive atmosphere and accompanies the ceremony. The history of wedding music spans from the Baroque era to the present day and encompasses both traditional and modern compositions. Fitz Neuböck's "Wedding Day" for wind orchestra is a contemporary example that musically depicts the wedding day in three movements: "Early in the Morning" (the bride's awakening), "Romantic Thoughts" (inner feelings), and "Wedding Bliss" (the festive climax).
