Additional info/contents	Argos was commissioned by the Lucerne Cantonal Brass Band Association (LKBV). Composed in the fall of 2009, Argos was the third-grade piece at the 2010 Lucerne Cantonal Music Festival in Willisau. Argos (after the giant "Argos," meaning "shimmering/bright") describes the bright, festive character of the composition. The work consists of three sections: a fanfare-like opening, a song-like or chorale-like middle section, and a joyful final movement.
