Additional info/contents	This meditatieve work describes the final minutes before the night slips away and officially turns to day; the last few moments before a new dawn. The composition is based on an old Austrian folk tune Auf dem Berg bin i gern (loosely "I'm happy to be in the mountains") which has been used as the main theme in an impressive and atmospheric way. This work is dedicated to Karl Geroldinger, director of the Oberösterreichisches Landesmusikschulwerk (Upper Austrian Provincial Music School System) and conductor of the Sinfonisches Blasorchester Ried (Ried Symphonic Wind Orchestra), in honour of his 50th birthday.
