Additional info/contents
The final movement in Morten Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna, Agnus Dei is an absolutely stunning setting of the sacred text, calling for the 'Lamb of God who takest away the sins of the world” to 'grant them rest.” The entire cycle's recording by the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Sinfonia Orchestra, as well as its recording by Polyphony and the Britten Sinfonia received Grammy nominations.
