Additional info/contents Written at the request of French virtuoso Yann DuBost (1st Prize winner of the ISB Solo Competition 2005, and recent prize winner of the Swiss Global Artistic Foundation), Richard Wilson's Gravitas is a challenging seven-movement piece for double bass. It was premiered by DuBost at the International Society of Bassists convention in Oklahoma City in 2007. A fine addition to solo repertoire for the double bass.
