Additional info/contents	Commissioned by the United States Air Force Band this one movement Third Stream fusion-type work explores the relationship between jazz and Baroque styles. In a concerto grosso setting it employs bebop and contemporary styles in a highly energized work that 'smokes'. No improvisation required. Surprise ending has the full ensemble on a 'tutti blow'. A kind of Ives meets Charlie Parker. Challenging.
