Additional info/contents	Diese Marimba-Schule wurde konzipiert zur Entwicklung der verschiedenen Bewegungen mit 4 Schlägeln und zugleich auch einer schönen Musikalität. Das Einspielen und die darauf folgenden Übungen sind unerlässlich zum Erlernen und Assimilieren der kleinen Stücke. Mit Hilfe seines Lehrers soll der Anfänger sie langsam, konzentriert spielen, darauf achtend, entspannte Schultern und Vorderarme und grosse Flexibilität in den Handgelenken beizubehalten. Diese Übungen zuerst einhändig spielen bis die Bewegungen präzise werden. Alle Bewegungen sind auf Seiten 3 und 4 abgebildet und beschrieben. Diese Marimba-Schule hat ihre Wirksamkeit in Klang- und Phrasierungs-Entwicklung bei jungen Marimbisten bewiesen. Es ist also wichtig, dass sie sich musikalisch mit guter Basis-Technik ausdrücken und sich jeweils von den Titeln der einzelnen Stücke inspirieren. Viel Glück und Freude mit diesem Heft wünsche ich allen Schülern und Professoren. Stéphane Borel This method for marimba is designed to develop the various movements with 4 beaters, and at the same time encourage a really musical response. The warm-up and exercises that follow are essential to the process of learning and assimilating the short pieces. With the help of the teacher, the beginner will play them slowly and with concentration, taking care to relax the shoulders and forearms, and keeping the wrists very flexible. To begin with, it is preferable if the exercises are played one hand at a time until the movements become more accurate. All the movements are illustrated and described on pages 3 and 4. This method has already shown itself to be effective in helping young marimba players to develop a quality of sound and sense of phrasing. To achieve this it is important that they express themselves musically with the support of a sound basic technique and by drawing inspiration from the title of each piece. To all students and teachers working with this collection I wish the best of luck and much enjoyment. L'échauffement et les exercices qui suivent sont indispensables à l'apprentissage et à l'assimilation des petites pièces. Aidé par son professeur, l'élève débutant les jouera lentement, avec concentration en prenant garde à relâcher ses épaules, ses avants bras et à maintenir une grande souplesse dans les poignets. Jouez ces exercices de préférence d'abord mains séparées jusqu'à ce que les mouvements se précisent. Tous les mouvements sont illustrés et décrit aux pages 3 et 4. L'utilisation de cet ouvrage a démontré son efficacité dans le développement de la sonorité et du sens du phrasé chez les jeunes marimbistes. Pour cela il est important qu'ils s'expriment musicalement à l'aide d'une bonne technique de base et en s'inspirant du titre de chaque pièce.
