Additional info/contents	Autumn (Herbst) is eine Bearbeitung des dritten Satzen meines ersten Blechbläser-quintetts (Seasons BIM ENS46). Dieses langsame und melodische Stück inspiriert sich der subtile Herbst Melancholie und wurde auf Vorschlag meines Fakultätskollegue John Aley (University of Wisconsin) für Flügelhorn und Klavier bearbeitet um seine Trompeten und Klavier Rezital CD, in der bereits auch meine Sonate für diese Besetzung, zu ergänzen (BIM TP290). Dann schrieb ich gleich noch eine Fassung für Tuba oder Euphonium und Klavier (BIM TU140) und eine Fassung für Posaune und Klavier (BIM TB71). Die Premiere der Tuba und Klavierfassung unternahm Tom Curry in 2008. John Stevens, Madison, WI, USA, 2009. Autumn is an arrangement of the third movement of my first brass quintet,'Seasons' (BIM ENS46). This slow, melodious work that depicts the beautiful melancholy of the autumn season was arranged for flugelhorn and piano at the suggestion of my University of Wisconsin faculty colleague John Aley for his recording of music for trumpet and piano which also includes my Sonata for trumpet and piano (BIM TP290). I then made also the piece available for tuba or euphonium and piano (BIM TU140), and trombone and piano (BIM TB71). The premiere performance with tuba and piano was given, in 2008, by Tom Curry. Cette pièce lente et mélodique s'inspire de la subtile mélancolie de la saison automnale. Elle a été arrangée pour bugle et piano à l'instigation de John Aley, mon collègue de la faculté de l'Université du Wisconsin, pour son disque de récital trompette et piano sur lequel figure également ma Sonata pour cette même formation (BIM TP290). J'ai également réalisé une version pour tuba ou euphonium et piano (BIM TU140) et pour trombone et piano (BIM TB71). La première de la version pour tuba et piano a été donnée en 2008 par Tom Curry.
