Additional info/contents	Das Werk von Clement Janequin (1485-1558) besteht vor allem aus Liedern mit Texten von Marot, Franz I, Ronsard, usw. Dieser Komponist scheint mehr Wert auf die rythmische Komponente der Worte als auf den Sinn der verwendeten Texte gelegt zu haben. 1550 wurde er zum 'Königlichen Sängen' ernannt, und während seiner letzten Lebensjahre erhielt er den begehrten Titel des 'Königlichen Komponisten'. Most of the work of Clement Janequin (1485-1558) consists of settings of texts by Marot, François 1st, Ronsard etc. He seems to have been more interested in the rhythm than in the sense of his texts. In 1550 he was appointed ' Singer in Ordinary to the King' and towards the end of his life obtained the much sought-after title of 'Composer in Ordinary to the King'. L'oeuvre de Clément Janequin (1485-1558) est principalement constituée de chansons sur des textes de Marot, François 1er, Ronsard, etc. Ce compositeur semble avoir plus été intéressé par le côté rythmique du mot que par le sens du texte qu'il utilisait.
