October 15, 1985 French trumpet player Roger Delmotte played the premiere of Aubade, accompanied by the composer on the carillon of the International Watch Museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This piece for trumpet and carillon (or marimba) was especially written for this occasion during the Jura Art Weeks. C'est le 15 octobre 1985 que le trompettiste français Roger Delmotte, accompagné au carillon du Musée International de l'Horlogerie de La Chaux-de-Fonds par le compositeur, créa cette Aubade pour trompette et carillon (ou marimba), oeuvre spécialement écrite pour l'occasion, dans le cadre de la Semaine artistique du Jura neuchâtelois.
