'Music for Trombone' is a three-movement work composed for the French virtuoso Michel Becquet, thanks to a commission from Radio Suisse Romande. It was first performed by Michel Becquet and the Suisse Romande Orchestra conducted by Roderick Brydon on October 17th 1986 in Geneva. 'Musique pour trombone' est une oeuvre en trois mouvements composée à l'intention du virtuose français Michel Becquet, grâce à la commande de la Radio Suisse Romande. Elle a été crée par Michel Becquet et l'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande dirigé par Roderick Brydon le 17 octobre 1986 à Genève.
