Additional info/contents Andrew Lloyd Webber composed the Requiem in memory of his father, William Lloyd Webber, who died in 1982. The premiere of the final version of the piece took place on February 24th, 1985. The Pie Jesu has become the most popular movement of the Requiem, and has been recorded by numerous artists.
This arrangement can be performed as a solo, or as a duet. If played as a solo, the cue-notes in Part 3 and in solo part 1 has to be played.
