He was an accomplished organist and writer of church music, and according to the Grove Dictionary, was one of the greatest and most productive composers of his time, leaving a musical legacy whose value increases with the ages. Nothing bears this out better than this Kaisershot transcription of one of his organ pieces, an outstanding selection for all occasions.
