Probable the shortest minuet in Mozart's catalog of Serenades since it consists of one minuet section only, while his others generally feature an allegro, minuet I, andante, minuet II and rondo. For this reason, some authorities believe that parts of the original may have been lost. In any case, this lilting theme in 3/4 time takes just two minutes to play.
