Additional info/contents	Right now, the "jive" is the most swinging dance form. It requires a swinging, driving bass and a rhythm section. Add to that a saxophone section that perfectly adapts to this rhythmic foundation, both by constantly listening to it and by counteracting it with a homogeneous, not-too-loud playing style and subtle accents. The brass section should sound as a single unit, which is typical of the big band sound. The orchestration treats the other wind instruments like a backing group. Kees Vlak was inspired to compose this piece when he heard a small orchestra from Amsterdam – The City – play. The group brought such a charming swing to the music that they received a standing ovation from the audience. Radiotrack
