Additional info/contents
Pachelbel's Canon is a timeless classic and great example of compositional counterpoint from the Baroque Era. This historic masterpiece by Johann Pachelbel, originally written for harpsichord in the 1600's, has certainly stood the test of time. This bestselling wedding solo transcribed and arranged by Tony Santorella for flute and piano was edited by lead trumpeter Tim Morrison of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO). Any matrimonial ceremony would not be complete without the performance of this very familiar Canon in D published by Santorella Publications.
